TO OBTAIN A CPL/IR WITH FROZEN ATPL
BE ATLEAST 18 YEARS OLD – (MINIMUM 17 YEARS OLD DURING ENROLMENT)
DEMONSTRATE PROFICIENCY IN READING, WRITING, AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION IN ENGLISH AT
A PROFESSIONAL STANDARD
MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A CLASS 1 MEDICAL
POSSESS ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
- PASSED THE SIJIL PELAJARAN MALAYSIA (SPM) OR EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATIONS WITH CREDITS IN FIVE SUBJECTS INCLUDING ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS AND A SCIENCE SUBJECT IN ONE SINGLE TYPE OF EXAMINATION; OR
- ATTAINED A DEGREE RECOGNISED BY THE MALAYSIAN QUALIFICATIONS AGENCY (MQA) WITH A CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE (CGPA) 3.0 OR ABOVE AND HAS PASSED THE SIJIL PELAJARAN MALAYSIA (SPM) OR EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATIONS WITH CREDITS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS AND A SCIENCE SUBJECT.
The Course is approximately 80 weeks (20 months) on a full-time basis. The first part of it will be the Ground School phase (9 months) which will be undertaken at HM Place Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur followed by the Flight Training phase (11 months) which be conducted in Langkawi.
Cadets will undergo basic to advanced flight training on HMA’s DA 40 (single engine) and DA 42 (twin-engine) aircrafts as well as state of the art flight simulators to clock the required hours for the issuance of the CPL and Instrument Rating (IR) with frozen ATPL.
This phase will be based at the picturesque Langkawi International Airport with the training flights extending to other airports in Malaysia such as Penang, Alor Star, Ipoh and Subang.
The current course fee is tentatively around RM402,500.00.
